PRIVACY POLICY Effective Date: October 31, 2025


1. Overview  

This App helps you track water intake and set reminders. No account creation is required, and we do not operate our own backend or cloud database for your data. The App may display ads from third-party advertising partners.


2. Information We Collect  

a) You provide  

Water intake entries, amounts, timestamps, and preferences (e.g., units, theme, reminder settings).  

b) Collected automatically  

Basic device and app information (e.g., app version, device model, OS version) needed for functionality and ad rendering. For web users, standard web logs and browser storage events may be utilized to operate features and remember your settings.  

c) No sensitive categories  

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or health sensor data.


3. How We Use Information  

We use the information to operate core features, track water intake, show history, manage reminders, personalize the in-app experience (e.g., theme), display and measure advertising performance via third-party ad services, and improve reliability and user experience.


4. Data Storage and Retention  

Your water intake data and preferences are stored locally on your device or, for web users, in your browser storage. Data persists until you delete it from within the App or uninstall/clear your browser storage.


5. Third-Party Services  

a) Advertising partners  

The App may show ads using third-party SDKs or services. These partners may collect device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID), IP address, coarse location (derived from IP), and engagement data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where enabled. You can typically limit ad personalization in your device settings or via ad consent prompts where available.  

b) Analytics and crash reporting  

We do not run our own analytics or crash reporting that link to your identity. Third-party ad partners may perform their own measurement according to their policies.


6. Permissions  

Notifications are used to send water intake reminders. You can disable notifications in the App or your device/browser settings. The App does not request access to precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo library.


7. Children’s Privacy  

The App is not directed to children under the age required by local laws (e.g., 13/16). If you are under the applicable age, do not use the App.


8. International Users and Legal Bases  

If you reside in the EEA/UK, we process local app data as necessary to perform the App’s functionality (contract/legitimate interests) and rely on your consent for notifications and any personalized advertising where consent is required. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Where feasible, you can use in-app settings, your device settings, or clear the App/browser storage to exercise these rights.


9. Your Choices and Controls  

Edit or delete entries using in-app controls (e.g., History or Settings). Reset local data using in-app reset options or by uninstalling the App/clearing site data in your browser. Toggle notifications on/off within the App and in device/browser settings. Adjust device-level ad preferences or respond to in-app consent prompts where shown.


10. Data Security  

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.


11. Data Sharing  

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers necessary to deliver app functionality (e.g., OS notification services) and advertising partners to display and measure ads, which may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some laws. You may opt out of personalized ads via device settings or consent tools where offered. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.


12. Changes to This Policy  

We may update this policy to reflect operational or legal changes. Updates will be posted within the App, including the “Effective Date” mentioned above.
