Simple Spin Wheel Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2025-10-30

1. Who we are

App: Simple Spin Wheel

This app runs entirely on-device and does not connect to any backend you control. It displays ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).

2. What data we collect

Personal data: None collected by the app developer.

Wheel data you create (names, options, colors), spin history, and preferences are stored locally on your device. When you choose to share a wheel, the app generates a compact code locally and provides it to your chosen app (e.g., Messages, Email). No copy is sent to our servers.

3. How your data is used

On-device storage: We use your wheel configurations, spin history, and settings solely to power app features (e.g., displaying your wheels, tracking results, restoring your last state).

Sharing: If you share an item, only the content you choose to share is sent to the operating system's share sheet.

4. Ads and third parties

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Ads may use device identifiers and/or cookies for ad delivery and measurement. AdMob, as a third party, may collect data in accordance with its own policies.

Personalized ads: On iOS, if you grant tracking permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT), AdMob may use your identifier for personalized ads. If you deny tracking, you may still see ads, but they will be less personalized.

You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings. For more details, visit Google’s advertising privacy resources.

5. App permissions

Network access: Required to load and display ads and to open external links you tap (e.g., Terms/EULA).

App Tracking Transparency (iOS): The app may request permission to track solely for ad personalization. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings.

6. Data storage and retention

All wheel data, spin history, and preferences remain on your device unless you explicitly share them. Deleting the app removes local data. If you reinstall, previously stored local data is not restored unless backed up by your device’s system backups.

7. Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad content and data handling are governed by AdMob’s policies, including any child-directed settings applied by the platform.

8. Your choices

Do not grant ATT permission on iOS if you prefer not to allow cross-app tracking.

Adjust ad personalization in device settings (iOS: Reset/Limit Ad Tracking; Android: Reset Advertising ID, Ad personalization controls).

Manage your data by editing or deleting wheels and history in-app; uninstall the app to remove all local data.

9. International users

Since data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to our servers, international transfer by us does not occur. Ad networks may process data on their own infrastructure according to their policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in functionality or regulations. Continued use after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
